My Review of Pool Warehouse

When I decided I was going to do this whole DIY pool project, I really had no idea what it was I was getting myself into.  I mean, I knew it was a huge project and that it was going to be difficult, but I didn't know things, like where to even buy a pool from.

So, like most things I don't understand, I started searching the internet to find out more about my options.  There are so many options, it can become overwhelming if you think you will sit down and decide what you are doing in like 20 minutes.  I spent about a week on it, making quotes, and going back and changing things, and adding and removing, before I finally got it the way I wanted it.
Lots of options are available with Pool Warehouse

Originally, I was going to do a Radiant pool.  I think they sell a really nice product that can both be in ground and above ground.  This idea really resonated with me, because of my sloped back yard.  I thought It would require less digging if I was only burying one side of the pool.  But I also found vinyl liner pool kits, and bottom line, the vinyl liner pool kits were actually quite a bit cheaper than the Radiant pools.  It made me reconsider my project a little bit.  And in the end, I decided I might as well go all the way instead of this partial thing.  This way I would have a shallow end and a deep end, and I would have easy steps into the pool, not some sort of ladder, or some amazingly expensive, bump out steps that the Radiant pools offered.

I started looking at a couple different online companies to find in ground pool kits, but what finally drove me to pool warehouse, more than anything else, was their website, and the options and the way the site is set up to order your pool.  It actually helped me grasp the scope of the product, while being able to put together the exact package I wanted.  Everything from the shape of the pool to the size of the pump.

You are even given options in regards to pumps and filtering
Pool Warehouse had decent ratings, but like most online companies, they also have a couple really bad reviews.  The problem is, the vocal minority are at work sometimes.  It is not nessessarily that the company has a problem as much as it is that the customer has a problem, and expects the company to fix a problem that is not their responsibility.

Anyway, I ordered from Pool Warehouse.  What I ended up with was a 14'x28' rectangular pool, with 6" corner radius and a 6 food wide liner over steps walk in.  It is 6' at the deep end, and it has a ladder at the deep end to get in and out.  It was the 42" steel style, and it has two Aqua Genie Skimmers and one LED light.

As far as customer service from Pool Warehouse is concerned.  I have had no issue with them what so ever.  They have responded to all of my questions, and they have been very helpful through the process of purchasing  the pools.  And if my opinion changes, I will definately let everyone know.  The pool will be here in two days, and I am looking forward to getting this project really started.  Tomorrow we will be digging fence pole holes, and the fence delivery shoul arrive in three days, so I will have a whole lot of work coming really soon.

Just as a wrap up, so far in this DIY inground pool project, we have covered the initial planning of the project, and then first stages, of tree removal and excavation, and this is the Pool Warehouse review.  Thank you for reading my blog so far!
